Hey beautiful people!
Wow, it’s been a hot minute, hasn’t it? Almost a whole year, to be precise. I’ve missed y’all like crazy! BUT IM BACK!!! Yes, yo girl IS BACK! Life’s been a wild ride, to say the least. As some of you may know, I took a little hiatus from blogging to tackle the wild beast that is grad school. It was a tough decision, but hey, gotta do what you gotta do to adult, am I right?
Well, guess what? After a year of living off caffeine and sheer determination, I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve survived and even managed to snag a few A’s in da bag. YEEET!

Ive been thinkin…
During my time away, I had a chance to ponder the meaning of life, the universe, and yes, blogging. When I first started this journey, I was all about sharing all steals and deals i found with fashion, details on my hair, and honestly; pure boredom during the pandemic. I wanted to be the next big influencer, raking in likes and followers like nobody’s business. But somewhere along the way, I lost sight of why I started in the first place.
Grad school gave me a chance to take a step back and reevaluate. And you know what? I realized that I don’t want to be an influencer anymore. Nope, not me. I’m done chasing after likes and followers and instead I wanted to chase knowledge; which in my opinion is a more deadly weapon. What I really want is to reclaim my voice, to share my thoughts and experiences in a way that’s real and authentic.
But we OUTSSSIIIDDEEE
So here I am, dusting off the ol’ blog and diving back in with a renewed sense of purpose. Things might look a little different around here, but don’t worry, it’s still good ol’ goofy Jenni. I’ll still be sharing my favorite recipes, Hair care tips, fashion steals/deals and all the other random stuff that pops into my head. But I’ll also be sharing more of myself—the good, the bad, and the downright ridiculous.
Because let’s be real, life is messy, and it’s way more fun when we can laugh about it together, am I right?

I want this space to be a true reflection of who I am, quirks and all. I want it to be a place where we can connect on a deeper level, where we can have real, honest conversations about the things that matter most as I navigate my 30’s.(yes yal, my azz is old as heeeeelllll)
So thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for sticking with me through this crazy journey. I can’t wait to see where it takes us next.
