When it comes to looking expensive, most people think you absolutely must spend $500 on a blazer or a pair of heels. Well that’s not the case. You can look suave, put together, and bojuee all at a more affordable price. I have been doing this pretty much my entire life and I always get compliments on my outfits.
Below I have exposed my go to tips and tricks to be Ballin’ on a budget! You can always look expensive on a budget.
YAS HUNNY!!!!
TIP 1: Structure

When it comes to looking very business savvy, you don’t have to stick to the basic black, brown and blue suits. Instead, look more for structure. I nice tailored blazer with shoulder pads is my go-to. You can dress it down with a simple white tee and heels or even a cute mini dress. Adding the “Structured” effect will always read as professional and put together.

Tip 2: Basics + Classics

One thing I always love to do is mix medias, colors, patterns or prints with one another. For example, you can wear a simple denim jacket with a white maxi dress and gold jewelry. Gold Jewelry will always be a classic just like white sneakers, and denim…anything really! Basic pieces like white tees, solid bodysuits and dresses make it easy to look casual or easily dressed up.

Tip 3: Go for Inconspicuous Items

When I say inconspicuous, I don’t mean boring. Try to go for things that may have a pattern but it’s a very small pattern. By doing so you can still look very feminine/ lady like and not a busy body…Literally. Also, the easiest thing to go for are Neutral tones. You can never go wrong with neutrals. My favorites are creamy nudes, gray’s and of course…WHITE! Love me a good white dress.
Tip 4: Satin and Leather

The one material I’m always get drawn to is satin. Why? Because this is literally the fabric of royalty. Silks and Satin’s have been used by kings and queens since the dawn of time. Furthermore, its super affordable and accessible now a days. A lot of companies make items in satin because it demonstrates elegance, class, and femininity. When it comes to leather, I mean; You can throw on a leather trouser or jacket over anything and you instantly look rich! Moto jackets are in and definitely are seen on all the celebrities. Whether it be a classic black leather or even a red like Michael Jackson. It’s tie to the celebrity world is what makes it seem luxurious.
Tip 5: Belts!

Belts can turn any look from ordinary to extraordinary. I use belts as much as possible. Not only does it elevate a look, but it can also be used to accentuate your figure. By adding a belt over a blazer or a dress, it will cinch in your waist, giving you that coke bottle look. There are so many dupes out there of designer belts. You can still get the same aesthetic but on a budget.
Conclusion
Pretty much you can be “ballin on a budget” and still look better than most people spending thousands of dollars on one outfit. Don’t get me wrong, i still have designer items and take full advantage of them. But instead of wearing a full outfit of designer items, i pair them with affordable options to achieve the same result. I hope you enjoyed all my tips and decide to incorporate them into your everyday style!
