We have made it to the end guys! OH MY GOODNESS!!! I have been craving cookies for the last 2 weeks and MAN…it was hard. This 21 day Raw Vegan Challenge was one for the books. Will i do it again?…maybe. Do i think you should try it?… If you don’t like cookies as much as me. Am i happy with the outcome?
HELL YES!!!!
This challenge is not for those who can not stay on a good course, make sacrifices, and keep in sight why you are doing this challenge. Whether its for weight loss, a detox, or a reset…when doing this challenge, you really need to stay motivated. BE YOUR OWN HYPE MAN! If you can do that, you will achieve amazing results on this challenge. I PROMISE YOU THAT!
Now, lets jump into what i ate for my final week!
What I ate Week 3
Morning ACV Shot
I’m not exactly sure how i feel about this shot anymore. HAHAHAHA
I will say, it did become easier as the days went on to throw it back. Going into this week i really wanted to go full on and get the best out of this challenge. I started to take this shot right after a woke up, and once before i brushed my teeth for bed. I do believe this was the major shift i took to see such a dramatic change in my body fat percentage.
Breakfast
For Breakfast i kept it LIGHT. I stuffed my face with a big bowl of fruit. By this point in the raw vegan challenge, i didn’t have to eat large portions to become satiated and full. WHICH WAS A BLESSING!!!! I also believe by not having to eat as much, i did not bloat as much.
A.M Snack
Still on my morning juice kick, i decided to make a different juice to have along side with my carrot mango juice from last week. ( Yes i made 2 different juices this week for a total of 8 for the week.)
This time i made a bomb AF Tropical Green Juice!
Ingredients:
-2 bunches of kale
-5 Mangos
-1 whole pineapple
-2 Lemons
This made 4 small juices!
Lunch
When it came to lunch i kept it as simple as possible because YA GIRL IS TIRED OF CHOPPING VEGETABLES!!!! I made simple salads and topped them with lemon juice, rice vinegar, salt and a little bit of pepper. Simple dressing but very refreshing.
P.M Snack
For my P.M snack i was constantly reaching for my cucumber and tomato salad. I paired a small amount of this with more of my carrot mango juice! It seriously is my favorite juice to make! So sweet but still so healthy. Check out my previous post for the recipe.
Dinner
For dinner i was really wasn’t too hungry. I was usually eating either a bowl of fruit or another small salad. Since i had about two juices by this time and a salad, i was full enough to not want a large meal. Really by this point, i was just trying to put something solid in my stomach before bed to hold me over until morning. I mostly reached for strawberries or blueberries.
Night Cap
To wrap up the evening, I enjoyed my all time favorite herbal tea.
Honey vanilla chamomile tea from Twinings. Something warm and cozy to get me relaxed.
Final Thoughts and Results
In Conclusion, my final score for this challenge is absolutely a 10 out of 10! If you are looking to drop pounds, inches, or define your figure; i highly recommend this raw vegan challenge. Going into this my thoughts were on edge due to the fact that i COULD intake almost every fruit possible – which is sugar, which turns into fat, which then is stored in my belly region. NOT COOL!
Fortunately, i was proven wrong. When you stick to eating fruits in the morning and in-taking a large amount of vegetables like i did, the fruit didn’t effect my progress in the slightest. Another thing that i think really helped me drop fat was the ACV shot. Although nasty…SHIIII IT’S WORTH IT!
Aside from my body transformation, i underwent a huge mental transformation. I would wake up energized, I was able to stay up later, i was always in a positive mood, and i became very productive. I was completing tasks LEFT AND RIGHT HUNNY!!!!! Below i listed some Cons i faced and the Pros of my experience on this 21 day Raw Vegan Challenge.
